SOMEWHERE IN TIME

Somewhere in time I will find you
Oh, dear beloved of mine.
In the mists and the veils that hide you,
All I will look behind.

Why did you leave me all alone
Lost in my doubts and fears?
Leave me to watch as you faded away
Disappearing through the years?

That afternoon we spent together
I never did forget.
The happiest part of my whole life
Was the day after we had met.
